OUR COMUNITY AND THE FSSP
Photos of our community taken from events and services taken over the past few years.
Our community
We are a vibrant community of like-minded Catholics from different backgrounds who share one uniting factor: our love for the Traditional Latin Mass.
Who are the FSSP?
The Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter (FSSP) is a clerical Society of Apostolic Life of Pontifical Right, that is, a community of priests who do not take religious vows, but who work together for a common mission in the Catholic Church, under the authority of the Holy See.

What are the other options
for attending the traditional Latin Mass
in South East England?
We are aware of the following communities holding TLM on a Sunday relatively nearby to Bedford, none of these have a licence for complete unbroken daily worship under the Old Rite insofar as we know, and the next nearest locations that have this privilege that we are aware of and that are still in full communion with Rome are in Reading and Warrington.
St Thomas Aquinas, Bletchley
Christ the King, Harrowden Road, Bedford
Priory of the Holy Spirit, Oxford
Blackfriars, Cambridge
The Latin Mass Society has a full list of locations where the TLM can be celebrated.
How far do our parishioners travel?
Some travel almost 2hrs to reach us, many come from at least 30 minutes away, there are regulars in our parish coming on Sundays from the Cambridgeshire border, North London, Buckingham and the Northants and Dunstable areas as well as all over Bedford, Bedfordshire and Milton Keynes.
